RETURNS Policy


ELIGIBILITY

Marika Knows Things will repair, replace or refund an item that is faulty or significantly not as described.

YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN: 
3 days of delivery – including a description of the item/issue (you will be asked to provide a photo if you do not attach one to the initial request).

    (there is a chance your email being filtered into our junk mail folder, please follow up if you do not hear back within a reasonable timeframe)

SHIP ITEMS BACK TO US WITHIN: 
14 days of delivery

Once we receive the returned item, Marika Knows Things will assess it and if eligible, give a full refund (excluding initial shipping cost), send a new replacement item, or repair your returned item at our discretion.

CONDITIONS OF RETURN:

Please allow 1-3 weeks from the date we receive your item for your return or replacement to be created or processed, we aim to process these as soon as possible.

Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs, if the item is found to be faulty and/or is eligible for refund the return shipping cost will be refunded, however we are unable to refund the initial shipping cost of any item.

EXCLUSIONS

Due to the nature of these items, we cannot accept exchanges or returns (unless they arrive damaged or defective) for the following:

  • All custom or personalised items (even if the text or spelling incorrect)
    NOTE after a design has been approved it cannot be changed, so please check all your text and the design proof carefully.

  • Items on sale, samples, or seconds

  • Items that have been worn (such as earrings, for hygiene reasons)

  • Change of mind or cancellations

  • Uninsured items lost by the postal system

However, please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any problems with your order, or are unhappy with an item, and we will always do our best to find a solution – we want you to love your items as much as we do, and will always be reasonable if there is an issue.

CHOOSE CAREFULLY & EXPECT NATURAL VARIATIONS

Please choose carefully and be aware that any images provided on our website are for mockup/example purposes only. While these can be a fantastic aid in decision making, each piece is handcrafted and variations in material colours/tones, woodgrain etc will be naturally present. This is especially true for timber engraved items, making your piece beautifully unique (this is part of the charm). Slight colour variations also occur between acrylic batches.

Although we always try to photograph and display items as accurately as possible, these natural variations along with different monitor or screen settings, time of day, weather, and where a screen is being viewed can affect how items appear, particularly the colour/tone. A reminder, we cannot refund custom/personalised items or for change of mind.

If a colour or material you ordered is unexpectedly out of stock and wasn’t yet removed or noted on the website, we will always let you know, and offer an alternative colour/material or refund prior to commencing your order.

DISTRIBUTORS & RETAIL PARTNERS

Marika Knows Things will not issue refunds for products purchased through other entities, such as distributors or retail partners, you will need to contact the entity you purchased from in this instance.
